How and why is the data deleted in the BW staging cube everyday? When the data is deleted the change log associated with the staging cube is probably reset which is used by the delta process hence the process can't sync up and find the last update point.

The idea behind delta loads is to only touch records that were changed if a process is changing all the records all the time, maybe another load process would work better. For ex.: Just use the standard Import package with a month selection.
